Why We Use Coy…

At Canine Cavalry Treat Coy, you might notice we often use the term COY in reference to our company. It’s not a typo - it’s a proud nod to our military roots. In the Canadian Military, CO stands for Commanding Officer, and COY is the short form for Company (as in a unit of soldiers). It’s the traditional Commonwealth abbreviation and commonly used throughout Canada and other allied Nations. By using COY, we honour the structure, discipline, and camaraderie that shaped our past-and now shapes how we do business. It’s our subtle way of saluting where we came from, while continuing to serve a new kind of COY.
